Licious founders push IPO to 2027-28, call unicorn tag ‘a digression’

Abhay Hanjura and Vivek Gupta, cofounders of meat and seafood home-delivery platform Licious, said they are in no rush to go public, setting a tentative IPO timeline of 2027-28.

“We are in the business for the long run. The IPO is not the end for us,” Hanjura said in a fireside chat with ETtech editor Samidha Sharma at the ET Soonicorns Summit 2025 on Friday.

Gupta added the company expects to achieve profitability in six to eight months and is growing at 40% year-on-year.
