Ecommerce major Amazon India has announced that its annual Great Indian Festival sale will go live on September 23. The announcement comes a day after the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council announced sweeping reforms in the indirect tax regime.

The annual sale will begin a day after the revised GST rates take effect on September 22, aiming to simplify the tax structure.
