Luxembourg-UK deep tech Uplift360 has reached a new pinnacle in its scaling process after signing a recycling contract partnership with Babcock International Group, enabling it to extract and reuse materials from end-of-life Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft.. 

These military aircraft, which form the backbone of European NATO air defence alongside the F-35, first entered into service in 2003. The UK is believed to have retired 17 of the tranche one models with 12 in storage pending disposal.
