Health, technology, and sustainability have emerged as the defining forces reshaping how Indians buy and consume food, according to PwC India’s latest Voice of the Consumer 2025: India perspective survey.

The study, which surveyed more than 21,000 consumers globally, including 1,031 in India, shows a decisive shift in consumer priorities — from the need for safer food and cost-consciousness to the embrace of wellness technology and eco-friendly practices.
