A computer scientist used only “pure SQL” to construct a multiplayer DOOM-like game. The resulting first-person shooter game, cobbled from a mere ~150 lines of Python code, is dubbed data-analytics-id=”inline-link” href=”https://cedardb.com/blog/doomql/” data-url=”https://cedardb.com/blog/doomql/” target=”_blank” referrerpolicy=”no-referrer-when-downgrade” data-hl-processed=”none”>DOOMQL.
