Gemini in Chrome for Mac and Windows will no longer require an AI Pro or AI Ultra subscription, while Google today also announced a number of upgrades.

Google sees Gemini and other AI features in Chrome as “fundamentally changing the nature of browsing” by “moving from a passive experience to a more proactive and intelligent one.”
