Go Digit General Insurance has received a fresh show cause notice from the GST department, barely months after securing relief from the Bombay High Court in a separate tax dispute.

According to a stock exchange filing, the insurer was served a demand-cum-show cause notice dated September 22, 2025, from the Office of the Commissioner, CGST Audit-I, New Delhi. The notice, received on September 23, raises a demand of Rs 15 crore along with applicable interest and a penalty of up to 25% of the tax amount.
