India’s climate vulnerability is alarming! Since August 2025 alone, Uttarakhand, Himachal, and Maharashtra have all seen climate-related devastation occur. In 2024, India experienced extreme weather events for nearly 90% of the year resulting in nearly 70,000 lives lost, over 4 billion hectares of crop area affected and over 290,000 houses damaged. 800+ climate tech startups including startups like Bounce Infinity, Smart Joules, MiniMines, and AltCarbon to name a few are building to help India navigate climate change and its impacts better.
