Apple redesigned the alarm screen in iOS 26 with much larger buttons than before, but now it’s making another change in iOS 26.1: there’s a new ‘Slide to stop’ gesture for dismissing an alarm as of beta 2.
Today Apple released iOS 26.1 beta 2. The update is expected to ship to all users later this month.
When iOS 26 arrived in September, it brought a notable redesign to the screen when your alarm goes off.
