IT companies in India can no longer compete on wage arbitrage, as AI agents are rapidly taking over low-value tasks in software development, said Amjad Masad, founder of Replit – the $3-billion AI coding platform, currently the third most-used AI tool by startups globally after OpenAI and Anthropic.
