Another day, another landmark infrastructure deal between some of the world’s largest tech companies. This time, it’s Claude developer, Anthropic, which has struck a new partnership with data-analytics-id=”inline-link” href=”https://www.tomshardware.com/tag/microsoft” data-auto-tag-linker=”true” data-mrf-recirculation=”inline-link” data-before-rewrite-localise=”https://www.tomshardware.com/tag/microsoft”>Microsoft and Nvidia, as data-analytics-id=”inline-link” href=”https://www.anthropic.com/news/microsoft-nvidia-anthropic-announce-strategic-partnerships” target=”_blank” data-url=”https://www.anthropic.com/news/microsoft-nvidia-anthropic-announce-strategic-partnerships” referrerpolicy=”no-referrer-when-downgrade” data-hl-processed=”none” data-mrf-recirculation=”inline-link”>per the company’s official blog. Anthropic will now use Microsoft’s Azure servers to run Claude, purchasing $30 billion worth of server compute capacity over the coming years, with a pledge to help develop an additional gigawatt of compute using Nvidia Blackwell and Vera Rubin GPUs.
