FidelityFX Super Resolution is going away—or at least the name is, because AMD is data-analytics-id=”inline-link” href=”https://www.amd.com/en/products/graphics/technologies/fidelityfx/super-resolution.html” target=”_blank” data-url=”https://www.amd.com/en/products/graphics/technologies/fidelityfx/super-resolution.html” referrerpolicy=”no-referrer-when-downgrade” data-hl-processed=”none” data-mrf-recirculation=”inline-link”>apparently dropping the full name in favor of simply calling it “FSR.” The chipmaker has also renamed Fluid Motion Frames (FMF) to FSR Frame Generation.
