Here’s some bad news for folks who’ve been using Plex to stream stuff from a buddy’s personal media server to their TV for free for years. As it pledged to do earlier this year when it bumped up the price of the Plex Pass, the service is starting to enforce a paywall for remote streaming from a personal server to TV apps.
