SPARKL GLA Technology Business Incubator, in association with Easy Knowledge Club and MeitY Startup Hub, successfully organized VENTURETHON-2025: Think. Build. Pitch, a two-day entrepreneurship celebration bringing together student innovators, early-stage founders, mentors, and investors from across the region.
The event featured the 12th edition of Fund My Venture, the flagship investor-startup pitching platform of Easy Knowledge Club, where 13 promising startups pitched their ideas to a panel of investors and experts. Startups participated from sectors including healthtech, IoT & Robotics, AI/ML, and consumer-focused innovations

Investors present during VENTURETHON-2025 included: Amar Dixit, IIT Delhi Angels / Lead – Swiftseed Ventures, Amit Singal, Partner, Indiracorn Angels & Fluid Ventures, Anuj Maheshwari, Finance Leader & Ex-CFO, Kammo Group (Indonesia), Rajesh Ranjan, Designated Partner, O2 Angel Network, Vartul Jain, Investment Analyst, Inflection Point Ventures, Gautam Aggarwal, Principal, Soonicorn Ventures. Madhur Malik, Founder of StartupNews.FYI, and Mr. Chandan Tiwari, Founder of EDC India, joined as startup mentors, offering founders practical guidance on business models, storytelling, and fundraising readiness.
VENTURETHON-2025 offered a holistic experience through: Fund My Venture 12.0 –1:1 investor pitching, Startup Discovery Camp – Founder learning sessions and expert discussions, Venture Sprint – A 24-hour student innovation sprint designed to encourage rapid ideation and prototyping.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Anup Kumar Gupta, Vice-Chancellor, GLA University, Mathura, emphasized the importance of fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among students. The academic incubator plays a crucial role in preparing young innovators to tackle real-world challenges, build scalable solutions, and contribute meaningfully to India’s growing startup ecosystem.
While addressing the panel discussion on ‘Understanding Investability and Scalability from an Investor’s Perspective’, Ravikumar Tiwari , CEO, SPARKL – GLA University TBI , emphasized that investors today look beyond just innovative ideas—they seek founders who can demonstrate clarity, execution capability, and long-term scalability. He remarked, ‘A startup becomes truly investable when the founder shows deep customer understanding, strong unit economics, and the ability to scale sustainably. At SPARKL, our focus is to prepare young innovators to meet these expectations and build ventures that can grow with purpose and resilience.

While addressing the panel discussion on ‘Spotting the Next Billion-Dollar Opportunity – Riding Startup Wave 2.0 in India’, Madhur Malik , Founder of StartupNews.FYI , highlighted that India’s startup wave is entering a maturity phase where real value creation will come from solving deep, high-impact problems. He emphasized, ‘The next billion-dollar opportunities will emerge from founders who understand their customers deeply, leverage technology meaningfully, and stay resilient through market cycles. Major Highlights from Venturethon-2025: A student startup from Venture Sprint received a ₹5 lakh grant commitment from Mr. Chandan Tiwari (EDC India), while startup Avasar secured a ₹1 crore debt funding offer from EDC India—reflecting the event’s strong outcomes and its focus on driving tangible startup success. Two student startups Coroda AI & Anveshan Robotics participated at Venture Sprint, won 1st & 2nd prize of cash Rs. 15,000/- and Rs. 10,000/- respectively.

With strong participation, active mentoring, and high-quality pitches, VENTURETHON-2025 reaffirmed GLA University’s commitment to fostering a vibrant innovation and startup culture among students and young founders.
