Artificial intelligence is becoming concentrated in the hands of a few companies and countries, creating serious risks for India despite its strong technology talent, IndiaAI Mission chief executive Abhishek Singh said on Friday. “When a strategic technology like AI is controlled by a handful of corporations and countries, it creates a huge risk for India,” Singh said at an event organised by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) and IT industry body Nasscom.
