Elon Musk’s AI tool Grok has turned off its feature to generate images after nearly two weeks of mounting criticism from users and countries across the world. However, the feature remains available to paid users.

The decision comes as the company faces threats of fines, regulatory action, and even a possible ban of social media platform X in the UK.
