
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the struggling state-run telecom operator, could soon deploy 22,000 new 4G site across India. Where these sites will exactly come up, we don’t know. However, we do know that these sites have been under consideration for some time. The government is working out the specifications, and then a fresh order for 22,000 will be given to the TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) led consortium. This consortium includes Tejas Networks and Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT).
