Domestic air passenger traffic rises about 23% to 1.24 crore in August: Icra

India’s domestic air passenger traffic in August increased by 23% compared to the previous year and was 6% higher than pre-Covid levels, according to credit rating agency Icra. The growth in traffic from the previous month was 3.2%. Capacity deployment also grew by 10% compared to August 2022 but was 1% lower than pre-Covid levels. Icra stated that the domestic aviation industry is stable, with expectations of a continued recovery.
