VenturEdu, India’s first residential venture-building school, today announced a seed corpus commitment of approximately ₹15 crore to support the first cohort of startups emerging from its flagship 14-month Post Graduate Programme (PGP). The corpus combines in-house capital with commitments from external investor partners and limited partners (LPs), reinforcing VenturEdu’s integrated approach to venture creation.
The funding pool will be deployed selectively to the top-performing founders from the programme, with investment decisions driven by an independent investment committee comprising active investors. VenturEdu said cheque sizes and valuations will be determined on a case-by-case basis, allowing flexibility to back ideas across sectors and stages of early validation.
Under the model, the top 30 percent of ventures emerging from each PGP cohort will be eligible for funding consideration. Founders will undergo continuous evaluation through biweekly demo days, where progress on product development, customer validation and go-to-market execution will be reviewed by the investment committee.
The flagship programme is structured around a highly selective cohort of 50 founders over 14 months across two cities, combining structured learning, hands-on venture building and continuous investor feedback. In addition, the venture school is launching a three-month Investor Readiness Program designed to prepare founders for institutional fundraising through focused support on metrics, storytelling and due diligence preparedness.
“The early-stage ecosystem in India does not suffer from lack of ideas but it suffers from lack of structured execution support combined with timely capital. Our seed corpus is designed to reward the founders who demonstrate real traction and discipline during the programme, not just strong pitch decks,” said Kulmani Rana, Founder, VenturEdu.
VenturEdu’s LP network is expected to play an active role beyond capital contribution. Limited partners and investor collaborators will participate across multiple programme modules, including venture reviews, market access sessions and investment discussions, creating tighter alignment between founder development and capital readiness.
The investment committee will include experienced early-stage investors to ensure fair and market-aligned evaluation. The institution believes this structure reduces common biases seen in grant-style programmes and improves the probability of building venture-scale outcomes.
The seed corpus announcement builds on VenturEdu’s recently unveiled mentor network of 55+ leaders, including Pramod Arora, CEO, PVR INOX; Sorabh Agarwal, Co-founder, AngelBay; Ashish Nayyar, Co-Head, India, OakNorth; and Sanjay Guha, former President, Coca-Cola UK and Ireland. Several mentors and ecosystem partners are also engaged with Fibonacci X, the holding company behind VenturEdu, strengthening the programme’s operator-investor alignment.
VenturEdu said its success metrics will remain tightly linked to venture outcomes, including early revenue generation, external capital raised and progression toward Series A readiness. Founders graduating from the programme will continue to receive access to the school’s investor network, execution infrastructure and follow-on support.
With the first cohort set to begin shortly, VenturEdu aims to position itself as a structured launchpad for India’s next generation of venture-scale startups by combining residential immersion, operator-led mentorship and disciplined early-stage capital deployment.
About VenturEdu: VenturEdu, launched by Fibonacci X, a Gurgaon-based venture platform, is a first of its kind residential program designed to help first-time founders build investible and scalable startups.
Spread across India and the UAE, VenturEdu is positioned as the country’s first cross-border residential venture-building format.
The 14-month long PGP in Entrepreneurship program is open to working professionals, graduates, and early entrepreneurs. Applications open in the first week of December 2025 and admissions will occur in March 2026.
VenturEdu
VenturEdu aims to combine structured learning with hands-on venture building. Fifty founders will be selected for the inaugural cohort, from which 15 ideas will receive pre-seed or seed funding through Fibonacci X or its network of more than 100 investors.
The selected founders will work in teams to develop the final 15 ideas, chosen for their viability, scalability, and the complementary skills of the applicants. Founders who require more time can continue building on campus for an additional six months.
