SpaceX says its satellite-to-phone service is about to get faster. In a post on X, the company said the next version of Starlink Mobile will deliver “5G speeds from space with 100x the data density of the current V1 generation satellites.” The service, which was recently renamed from Direct to Cell, is preparing for a major hardware shift using new V2 satellites.
