Bengaluru-based fintech unicorn CRED today announced the launch of ‘CRED Garage’, a platform designed to streamline vehicle management for its members.

Founded in 2018 by Kunal Shah, CRED is an online member-only platform that offers rewards and cashback to users for paying credit card bills through its platform.

What is the aim of CRED Garage?

CRED Garage aims to instil confidence in car owners by integrating DigiLocker, allowing instant access to essential documents such as licenses, Registration Certificates, and insurance papers.

The fintech startup said that members opting for CRED Garage will have the luxury of a 24*7 concierge for maintenance, servicing, claims, and roadside assistance, ensuring support within the city and on cross-country journeys. Additionally, the platform offers the convenience of FASTag recharge, it said.

The platform is designed to promote responsible car care habits, thereby extending the vehicle’s life and value. It provides timely reminders for pollution checks, emissions tests, and insurance renewals to help maintain the vehicle in prime condition.

How will CRED Garage benefit members?

CRED said that members can save time and money, reduce stress, and enhance their car enjoyment by utilizing CRED Garage. CRED also offers rewards, exclusive deals, and perks across transactions, and members have the option to renew motor insurance with exclusive benefits.

The fintech startup further said that CRED Garage provides members with detailed maintenance records, performance insights, and information on fuel spending through an easy-to-read dashboard, allowing members to optimize their vehicle usage based on these insights and enjoy a superior car experience.

“Whether a first-time owner or a motorhead, anyone who owns cars knows that the delight of driving often gets overtaken by the anxiety of managing and maintaining. CRED garage is our solution to this challenge. CRED members can experience the pleasure of driving and the joy of car ownership on a single platform – customised for them. From cards to cars – CRED members can now manage, maintain and engage with all on the app,” said Akshay Aedula, CRED.

How to use CRED Garage?
