Google’s Chromebook Plus brings ‘double the performance’ with AI features

Google has introduced the Chromebook Plus certification program for high-quality Chromebooks. These laptops will come with AI features and promise improved performance. To receive the Chromebook Plus badge, the devices must meet specific requirements, including powerful processors, ample RAM and storage, high-quality webcam and display. The Chromebook Plus will offer various software features, such as AI-powered photo editing tools and enhanced video call capabilities. Google also plans to provide generative AI wallpapers and partner with companies like Adobe to bring software like Photoshop to the devices. The Chromebook Plus will be available from October 8, starting at $399. Existing Chromebooks will also receive an OS update with enhanced features.
