Share via:

Google has announced that its new Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones will receive seven years of software support, including Android OS upgrades, security updates, and regular Feature Drops. This extended support, which is not offered by any other major smartphone brand, means that Pixel 8 users will have their smartphones supported until 2030. Google stated that this commitment is in response to users keeping their Pixel phones for longer periods of time and aims to provide a more sustainable smartphone choice. In addition, Google will also provide hardware support for seven years to match the software commitment.
