Share via:

During the US government’s antitrust trial against Alphabet, CEO Sundar Pichai criticised Microsoft’s Internet Explorer (IE) browser. Pichai mentioned that Google Chrome was a significant improvement compared to IE7, which he claimed Microsoft had little incentive to improve. Google argued that people choose Chrome for its better queries and the ability to switch search providers, something IE7 did not offer.
