Ola Electric marked a milestone in November, hitting an all-time high of 30,000 scooter registrations. This achievement signifies a remarkable 30% month-over-month growth and an impressive 82% year-over-year surge. The company dominated with a substantial 35% market share in the EV scooter segment.

Maintaining its leading position for five consecutive quarters starting September 2022, Ola Electric expanded its scooter range with the launch of S1 Air and S1X models in India. Priced at ₹1,47,499, the S1 Pro (2nd Gen) leads the lineup, followed by the ₹1,19,999 S1 Air, and three variants of the S1X, ranging from ₹89,999 to ₹1,09,999, all ex-showroom prices.

These new models, built on the Gen2 platform, boast enhanced features including a more potent electric motor, a safer battery pack, a lighter chassis, and a flat floorboard. Notable design changes involve the adoption of telescopic forks and 5-spoke alloy wheels, alongside updates in internals, a sleeker smoked-effect tail lamp, and a redesigned grab rail.

Anshul Khandelwal, Ola’s Chief Marketing Officer, expressed pride in the brand’s performance, citing the robust sales figures as evidence of customer trust. He emphasized the company’s dedication to advancing India’s transition to green mobility, anticipating sustained momentum in December and a strong finish to the year.

Anshul Khandelwal stated, “The strong sales performance is a testament to the trust customers have in our brand and our strong product lineup. We have clearly emerged as our customers’ top choice recording our highest ever registrations, and we expect the trend to continue in December, closing the year on a new high. We are steadfast in our commitment to accelerating India’s journey towards green mobility and inching closer to #EndICEAge in the scooter segment.”
