PUC centres across India will now shoot video clips while checking pollution levels of vehicles and upload them on the VAHAN portal. The move comes after complaints of PUC centres issuing certificates without proper checks. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has made video shooting and uploading mandatory to ensure compliance. Delhi is the first state to implement the new guidelines, with other states expected to follow suit.
