Adil Qadri, an innovator in the fragrance industry, has captivated the market with his vision, his resilience and his adaptable approach to business growth. From hardships to hustle to now being one of the most popular brands in the country, Adil Qadri has defied the conventional norms of business and has created a niche for himself.

Dropping out of school early on due to medical reasons, Adil Qadri found his prowess in digital marketing. Using the same, he ventured into many business lines including affiliate marketing, drop shipping etc, all to no avail. He then started Adil Qadri as a clothing brand but couldn’t hit a product market fit.

It was then Adil Qadri decided to expand and blend his father’s background and experience of attars and perfumes with the D2C model. He also leveraged SEO and performance marketing to promote his brand setting the stage for unprecedented growth.

However, while the footfall continued to increase, challenges in the form of low checkout conversions, minimal prepaid orders and high RTO (returns before delivery) increased too, and Adil continued to look out for solutions.

That’s when he partnered with GoKwik. Over the past 2.5 years, this strategic collaboration has proven immensely successful, with checkout conversions soaring from 18% to an impressive 30%. The prepaid orders also experienced a significant uplift of 40%, while the RTO rate has come down from 35% to 27%, showcasing the brand’s commitment to building solutions that optimised shopper experience, thereby unlocking growth for the brand.

“The life experiences I’ve encountered fueled my ambition to create something extraordinary, and AdilQadri is that ambition taking form. Sure, building a brand isn’t without hurdles, we faced them too including drop-offs and RTO issues, but partnering with GoKwik has been a game-changer. Their intelligent and efficient solutions have resolved these challenges for us. Their dedication is commendable and we hope to keep growing with them in this journey.” – Adil Qadri, Founder, AdilQadri Perfumes

With just 20 orders in 2019, AdilQadri Perfumes enjoys more than 80000 orders a month now, and clocks over 7 Cr monthly revenue. Their growth is not just limited to the confines of the digital landscape. Like a true entrepreneur representing the future of commerce, Adil Qadri is leading the Omnichannel way and has opened over 15 stores in India with a flagship outlet in Dubai.

Looking ahead, the brand envisions a bold expansion strategy, aiming to establish a network of 111 stores across India and abroad within the next 5 years.

Furthermore, With 30% of the orders coming for gifting purposes, the brand aims to nurture the gifting experience with innovative packaging and an expanded product line. Adil Qadri is also aiming to launch its incense stick on its website, further expanding its portfolio in the fragrance line.

With intense grit, determination, passion and forward-facing vision, Adil Qadri is shaping the fragrance segment landscape and redefining the essence of D2C eCommerce in India. His brand is also a clear indication of how the spirit of D2C has seeped deep into the roots of our country, and brands are being made, scaled and grown beyond the confines of Tier 1 cities.
