India’s largest startup event, Startup Mahakumbh is all set to be hosted during March 18-20 in New Delhi. The three-day mega event will see a confluence of investors, startups, corporates, and other stakeholders from around the world.
The event is being supported by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), MeitY Startup Hub (MSH), and Invest India. It will be led by industry bodies ASSOCHAM, Nasscom, Bootstrap Incubation & Advisory Foundation, TiE, and Indian Venture and Alternate Capital Association (IVCA).
The one-of-a-kind event aims to be a one stop platform for fostering collaborations, networking, and potential funding opportunities. It is expected to be attended by 1,000+ investors, 500+ incubators and accelerators. Additionally, it will host 1,000+ startup exhibitions and 5,000+ conference delegates.
Attendees can expect workshops, pitch competitions, and multi-track conferences featuring leadership talks, panel discussions, workshops, and other exciting activities for startups and aspiring entrepreneurs.
A key highlight of the event is the 10+ thematic pavilions that will focus on emerging sectors like AI and SaaS, agritech, biotech, and fintech.
MeitY Startup Hub Ready To Supercharge India’s Startup Ecosystem
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has made proactive efforts to empower the startup community through various initiatives and programmes. The MSH is its nodal entity which aims to promote startups and technology innovation. It seeks to strengthen the startup ecosystem by bringing resources, entrepreneurs, subject matter experts, and industry stalwarts under the same roof.
The MSH also promotes investment in various sectors like deeptech, sustainability, and more. Besides hosting multiple accelerator and incubator programmes like SAMRIDH and TIDE 2.0, the MSH also seeks to double down on its on-ground presence with events like the Startup Mahakumbh.
