CarDekho’s insurance arm InsuranceDekho has rolled out an insurance SaaS platform to offer a comprehensive suite of digital solutions designed to streamline operations for insurance distributors.

The platform, Heph, which went live today (August 26), will cover every aspect of insurance operations, from front-end customer interfaces to robust back-end systems, and will support a wide range of products, including health, life, motor, and group insurance, the company said in a statement.

Heph’s four core modules—D2C, POSP, lending and embedded insurance—will serve a diverse clientele, including banks, NBFCs, brokers, OEMs, fintechs and digital players.

The platform offers access to over 650 insurance products and enables co-creation with Insurers, allowing businesses to efficiently manage and optimise their insurance offerings, the statement added.

The company further said that the platform has partnered with 49 insurers and supports various distribution channels, including assisted sales, direct-to-consumer models and embedded insurance. With extensive product API integration, Heph can serve any insurance product across any channel.

Further, the platform is launched to address key insurance distribution challenges with features like seamless digital policy issuance, multilingual support, and enhanced reach. It improves targeting and conversion through customer segmentation and lead scoring tools, reduces policy lapses with automated management and renewal tracking, and provides actionable insights through real-time analytics. Additionally, post-policy modules streamline claims and endorsements for smooth after-sales service.

Heph’s financial tools, including an instant commission system, digital reconciliation and automated payment processing, will ensure accurate and timely settlements. With robust API integrations, customisable workflows, and bank-grade security, it will further enable efficient operations, rapid scaling, and sustained revenue growth. It will adhere to IRDAI regulations, giving businesses confidence in a highly regulated environment, the company said.

Ayush Bagmar, business head of Heph, said in a statement, “We’re not just providing a service; we’re empowering businesses to reimagine their insurance operations. Our platform combines cutting-edge technology with deep industry expertise, enabling our clients to deliver superior insurance experiences to their customers.”

Ankit Agrawal, cofounder and CEO of InsuranceDekho said, “With this launch, we are set to redefine how insurance products are distributed and managed in India, driving growth for our partners and improving accessibility for consumers.”

Founded in 2016 by Ankit Agrawal and Ish Babbar, InsuranceDekho is an omnichannel insurance platform providing services such as investment options and tax schemes apart from insurance options. The company currently claims to have tie-ups with 48 insurance companies offering over 630 insurance plans on its platform.

This comes days after InsuranceDekho announced a slew of new appointments in leadership positions, including Manish Mahajan joining as the chief business officer of consumer business in the startup.
