Apple TV+ today premieres its new flagship original movie, called Wolfs, starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney. The film is streaming now on Apple TV+ for subscribers, worldwide.

Wolfs is written and directed by Jon Watts. The film was originally intended to have a wide theatrical release, but Apple shifted gears at the last minute and it became a streaming-exclusive title.

Watts, Pitt and Clooney have all expressed disappointment that the movie did not get its time in cinemas. (Pitt is also set to feature in Apple’s upcoming F1 movie, which is destined for theatrical next June.)

In the film, Brad Pitt and George Clooney play lone fixers, who are assigned to clean up the same crime job. They respectively took the jobs because they thought it would be a relatively straightforward affair, but when they arrive the crime unravels into something larger than they ever imagined. They are forced to work together to get to the bottom of it.

Alongside headliners Pitt and Clooney, the cast also includes Amy Ryan and Austin Abrams. The action comedy has received largely positive reviews from critics.
