COMET’26, the flagship career development fest of IIT Roorkee, returns as a dynamic platform dedicated to bridging the gap between students and industry. As part of the broader initiative Career Orientation and Mentorship for Emerging Talents (COMET), the fest empowers students with the clarity, skills, and connections needed to make informed career decisions.
When & What to Expect
Scheduled for 11th–12th April 2026, COMET’26 brings together leading industry professionals, creators, and innovators for an immersive two-day experience centered around career exploration, skill-building, and meaningful networking.

The event will feature insightful sessions by distinguished leaders such as Nachiketa Joshi (MD, Alvarez & Marsal), Ravi Kapoor (Ex-IRS & YouTuber), Shyam Meera Singh (Journalist & YouTuber), Keshav Beedi (Influencer & Economist), and many more—offering diverse perspectives across industries.
Workshops & Competitions
Participants will engage in hands-on workshops and competitions conducted in collaboration with top organizations including JPMC, Apple, Flipkart, Bain & Company, and Grant Thornton, ensuring practical exposure to real-world problem-solving.

Building on its strong legacy, COMET has previously hosted renowned personalities such as Prajakta Koli, Madhur Virli, Karunesh Talwar, and Iqlipse Nova. This year, the bar is set even higher—with many more exciting names and experiences yet to be revealed.
