Pragyan, the Annual International Techno-Managerial Fest of NIT Trichy, returns for its 22nd edition from February 20–23, themed “Anachronia.” ISO 9001 and 20121 certified, Pragyan continues to stand as one of NIT Trichy’s proudest legacies, inspiring innovation, challenging limits, and fostering student excellence.
A major highlight is OpenHouse, a two-day exhibition platform showcasing student projects from multiple departments and technical clubs, bridging ideas with real-world implementation. National-level contest Ingenium attracts participants across India, while Sangam, the flagship hardware hackathon, empowers students to build impactful grassroots solutions.
The fest features diverse events across seven clusters including management, coding, robotics, and hardware. Workshops in collaboration with leading companies such as Linux, Samsung, and Mercedes offer hands-on learning experiences. Renowned industry leaders deliver guest lectures, and the flagship debate Crossfire brings eminent political personalities together for meaningful discussions on social and economic issues.
Beyond technology, Pragyan emphasizes outreach and social responsibility through initiatives like the Pragyan Blog, Podcast, and Techids, which nurtures young minds through technical workshops.
