Amazon appears to have identified another market to launch Project Kuiper, its fast and affordable internet service.
According to job postings, the American e-commerce company is looking to hire managers in India to launch the internet service, for which the company intends to use a low-Earth orbit satellite constellation. One position, based in Bengaluru, seeks a manager to execute and manage the project’s licencing strategy in India and the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, the company is looking for a business strategy lead for its Country Development team in order to “launch and operate” the broadband service globally.
