According to Reuters, the study, which lasted two years and ended in 2021, discovered a slew of issues. According to the report, other major reasons for the decline in Facebook user growth included nudity content, complex design of the Facebook app, literacy barriers, and a lack of appeal. In February of this year, Meta’s chief financial officer Dave Wehner stated that one of the major reasons for a steep decline in Facebook’s user growth in India was high mobile data costs.
