ICICIdirect acquired web and app-based investment content community startup Multipie from its parent company Vartul Solutions.
ICICIdirect will acquire Multipie’s app, technology, brand, domain name, and user base as part of the agreement. In addition, Multipie’s core team, which includes content and technology teams, will join ICICIdirect. Multipie is a web and app-based content community networking platform for investors, allowing them to exchange ideas and share perspectives on stocks and other related investments. Multipie offers features such as stock discovery ideas, portfolio import, content creation with stock tags, and user tags with Twitter integration, to name a few. It also allows users to follow each other and share other people’s portfolios within the platform.
