Dubai-based Zywa, raised $3 million seed funding from Goodwater Capital, Dubai Future District Fund, Rebel Fund, Trampoline Venture Partners, Zemu VC, a number of prominent European family offices, and strategic angel investors.

Zywa is a social banking app and prepaid card that allows Gen Z (people aged 11 to 25) to receive money, manage it, and make payments. Parents will appreciate the app’s ability to send money to their children as well as monitor their spending and saving habits. Zywa also intends to add a social component to its app by allowing users to share photos or videos of their purchases as well as react to their friends’ purchases in different feeds.
