Online furniture marketplace Pepperfry acquihired interior designing startup Brandmakerr for an undisclosed amount.

As part of the agreement, Brandmakerr’s founder Rahul Kapuria has been appointed as Pepperfry’s vice president. Kapuria will join Pepperfry’s Mumbai office and oversee commercial interior design, civil and interior design, and turnkey solutions. Pepperfry will carry out commercial interior design projects for the retail, banking, and HORECA sectors as a result of this acquisition. Furthermore, Brandmakerr’s projects have been transferred to Pepperfry, where they will be led by the online furniture marketplace. Pepperfry intends to collaborate with major players in retail, food and beverage, airports, and banking through the newly acquired business.
