Twitter’s VP of engineering is leaving for Meta due to cybersecurity concerns and Elon Musk’s takeover

Twitter is navigating a difficult legal battle with Elon Musk and his plans to acquire the company, according to a report by Insider, which Twitter also confirmed.

Sandeep Pandey, Twitter’s vice president of Engineering, is leaving after more than a decade to join Meta, formerly Facebook. Pandey joined the company in 2012 and rose through the ranks from staff engineer to VP. A Twitter spokesperson confirmed Pandey’s departure in an email to TechCrunch, saying his departure is natural given industry trends. Twitter emphasised that it is committed to effectively managing the company.
