Dubai lender Emirates Islamic launched a bank account specifically for female entrepreneurs

Emirates Islamic, the UAE’s leading financial institution, has announced the launch of a ‘Businesswomen Account.’ The new banking account aims to make fundamental changes in terms of inclusion while also promoting improved financial practises for women-led SMEs.

According to the statement, the Businesswoman Account has one of the lowest monthly average balance requirements in the business banking sector, with no minimum balance required for the first 12 months. For the new account type, the bank also provides a dedicated team of culturally diverse and multilingual female relationship managers, as well as a team of experienced trade specialists and Forex advisors. Among other benefits, account holders will receive a free business debit card and preferential rates on banking transactions and fund transfers.
