With messaging becoming a preferred channel for customer engagement, a new strategic partnership between Meta and Salesforce promises to assist businesses in creating experiences for customers to chat with on Meta-owned messaging service WhatsApp.

Salesforce surveyed over 13,000 consumers and nearly 4,000 business buyers across 29 countries in its recent survey, State of the Connected Customer, and discovered that 90 percent of customers say the experience a company provides is as important as its products or services, and 66 percent of online adults globally prefer messaging as a way of communicating with a business. WhatsApp-first business messaging will provide people and businesses around the world with modern, convenient, integrated, and personalised experiences. According to Salesforce, this integration will transform how brands connect with consumers seamlessly through conversational engagement across marketing, commerce, and service interactions.
