Amazon extends four-hour delivery to 50 Indian cities

To keep up with India’s growing fast commerce frenzy, ecommerce platform Amazon is expanding its four-hour delivery services to Prime members in 50 cities across the country.

Amazon announced in a blog post on Friday (September 23) that thousands of products in categories such as consumer electronics, books, toys, babycare, kitchen, luxury, sports, and personal care equipment will now be available for free delivery in 50 cities within four hours. Customers in Surat, Mysuru, Mangalore, Bhopal, Nashik, Nellore, Anantapur, Warangal, and Ghaziabad, among other cities, will now have a faster shopping experience, according to the company. Specialized buildings that fulfil orders are strategically located in these cities to cover various parts and ensure timely deliveries, it added.
