Flipkart reported 1.6 million concurrent users per second on its platform on the first day of its festive season sale on Friday. Leading e-commerce platforms such as Flipkart, Amazon, Meesho, and Snapdeal have begun their annual holiday sales.
Without providing specific sales figures, Flipkart stated that early trends in its ‘The Big Billion Days (TBBD)’ sale indicate that overall consumer sentiment toward festive shopping is very positive. Mobile phones, large appliances, fashion, furniture, and home appliances drew the most interest and demand from buyers, according to the report.
