ISPs have been directed to submit a compliance report in the matter. The decree will prevent users from accessing websites on their phones and laptops. The DoT circular mentions 63 websites, while the remaining four have been banned in response to an order from the Uttarakhand High Court and MeitY. Previously, the government had banned approximately 827 pornographic websites in 2018.
