Online two-wheeler marketplace Beepkart raised $9 million in funds led by Vertex Ventures South East Asia & India where existing investors Stellaris Venture Partners and Chiratae Ventures also participated.

Beepkart stated that the funds will be used to expand the business, improve the customer experience, develop internal products and systems, and improve branding and operations. Beepkart claims to provide users with a transparent experience by providing a fixed price to sellers and buyers via data crunching. Buyers can browse refurbished bikes, view inspection reports, make online reservations, schedule at-home test rides, and purchase bikes outright or on loan with warranties and services.
