Ride-hailing platform Uber launched an advertising division to connect consumers with brands by displaying video advertisements during the ride.

The company launched ‘Uber Journey Ads,’ an amusing way for businesses to engage customers. Journey Ads have already been launched in collaboration with over 40 prominent businesses. “We have a global audience of valuable, purchase-minded consumers who tell us where they want to go and what they want to get as part of our core business,” said Grether, General Manager of Uber’s advertising division.
