Twitter employees in India on ‘wait-and-watch’ mode following Elon Musk’s takeover

Twitter employees in India’s product engineering and development teams have been instructed to maintain the status quo and “avoid” working on any new services following the company’s takeover by Tesla cofounder Elon Musk,aAccording to ET.

Except for those involved in routine maintenance, most teams have been in a state of “wait and watch,” according to a mid-level executive working out of the company’s Bengaluru office. “We don’t know if we’ll have jobs at the end of the day right now. No official communication has occurred. We are patiently waiting “said the executive. Another Twitter India employee stated that while most employees working outside the country were “in suspended animation,” some had begun looking for other opportunities.
