Twitter Blue tick will cost $8 per month: Elon Musk

Share via:

After days of speculation, social media bargains on opinions, and Elon Musk announced that Twitter will charge $8 per month for verified profiles just four days after his takeover.

This means that anyone with a verified profile will have to pay $8 to use that feature on Twitter. “Twitter’s current lords and peasants system for determining who has or does not have a blue checkmark is nonsense.” The people have the upper hand! “Blue for $8/month,” the new CEO announced on Twitter. Musk also stated that the price will be adjusted based on the country’s purchasing power parity. Musk went on to explain the benefits of having a paid verified profile in a subsequent tweet. Musk listed them as “priority in replies, mentions, and search, which is critical to defeating spam/scam; ability to post long video and audio; and half as many ads.”
