Drone startup Garuda Aerospace raised $5 million funds from a large infra development company, a group of HNI and angel investors from India, the UAE, and Singapore.

With the additional funding, Garuda Aerospace intends to concentrate on developing cutting-edge drone solutions for the Indian Armed Forces in partnership with major international players in the aerospace and defence industries. The business, which provides industry 4.0 and agri drone services, has shown farmers how to use drones for crop monitoring, land mapping, crop health monitoring, and crop yield mitigation. It claimed that it was still raising awareness of the value of drone use in India. According to Garuda Aerospace, it has signed long-term agreements with MIT Boston, Lockheed Martin, Elbit Systems, Indian Institute of Science, and IIT-M. It has a fleet of 400 drones and more than 500 pilots spread out across 26 cities at this time.
