To strengthen its digital presence, Indian billionaire Gautam Adani is reportedly planning to launch a “super app” in the next three to six months that will connect Adani airport passengers with users of other Adani Group services.
The news comes as some of India’s largest conglomerates, including Tata, as well as various e-retailers and aggregators, try to capitalise on the digital boom. In August of last year, Gautam Adani’s conglomerate Adani Group mentioned launching a super app to enable digital transactions on a unified platform. Tata Digital’s Tata Neu, Reliance’s MyJio, Flipkart, and Paytm, among others, are part of India’s super app landscape.
