Electric mobility startup Oben Electric raised $4 million in Pre-Series A led by US India EV Angels LLC where Dholakia Ventures and existing investor We Founder Circle also participated.

The funding will assist the startup in meeting existing orders, increasing production capacity, and expanding its distribution network. The company claims a healthy order book for its first electric motorcycle RORR, which is comparable to a 150cc ICE motorcycle, from both India and export markets. Deliveries are set to begin in the first quarter of 2023.
